I don't see this as a permanent solution though if anyone has any ideas how to resolve this. I was able to start up the game, tab out after a couple seconds, tab back in and the buzzing was pretty much gone. Hope this helps anyone having the same problem. Turns out muting my line-in in my sound control panel fixed it. Was able to replicate the same sounds being made on my gfs computer under the exact same conditions. Ever since I formatted my computer, I’d hear a constant high-pitched sound coming out of my headphones (very faint) and it’d change in pitch every time I moved my mouse.

Also did a recording with just Netflix playing on my game PC and there was zero buzzing or screeching. Different games seem to have a different level of buzzing and at least one game (original Tomb Raider) had none at all. I tested it plugged into different ports in my gaming PC as well as swapping out the audio cables but that did not change it. Thing is, it makes the buzzing noise even if the stream can't hear the actual in game sound and I can't hear anything through my headset until I listen to the recorded broadcast later. I stream Dark Souls often and it makes the buzzing sound whenever my character gets attacked or slides down ladders mostly. I just started streaming with OBS a few weeks ago, and ever since I started people have been complaining about there being a buzzy sound when certain in game sound effects happen.
